Captain Megan M. Chaplin
Captain Chaplin is the Operations Flight Commander and Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at AFROTC Detachment 485, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. She is responsible for training, mentoring, and evaluating highly qualified prospective Air Force Officers.
Capt Chaplin commissioned in May 2018 from Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps, Detachment 630, Kent State University, Kent, Ohio as a Logistics Readiness Officer. She has since served in a variety of leadership positions in Air Mobility Command, United States Air Forces Europe Command, and Air Education Training Command during her 6 years active duty career. Prior to her current position, Captain Chaplin was the Deputy Director of the Commander’s Action Group, 31st Fighter Wing, Aviano Air Base, Italy.
